In Human Design, the Right Angle Cross of Planning (gates 37, 40, 9 and 16) is the theme of the global cycle that ends in 2027: family, community, contracts.

What is the Cross of Planning?

In Human Design, the Right Angle Cross of Planning is made of gates 37 (Friendship), 40 (Aloneness), 9 (Focus) and 16 (Skills). Ra Uru Hu described it as the theme of the global cycle humanity has lived in since the early 17th century: the age of planning.

Family and community, contracts and deals, the city state and the nation state, the promise that the future can be organised — in his telling, all of it belongs to this cross.

What ends in 2027?

According to Ra, the precession of the equinoxes moves the global cycle out of gate 37 and into gate 55, and with that the Cross of Planning ends in 2027. He described it as a door closing: not slamming, because everyone already alive keeps the old imprint, but closing for good.

What comes after it?

The cross said to follow is the Sleeping Phoenix. And the first thing the change is said to touch is the tribal channel 49-19.
