THE 9 CENTERS

The human design centers are the nine hubs of the bodygraph: Head, Ajna, Throat, G, Heart, Sacral, Spleen, Solar Plexus and Root. In every chart each one is either defined or open, and that split decides type and authority.
What are the 9 centers in Human Design?
Two are pressure centers: the Head and the Root, which is also a motor. Three carry awareness: Ajna, Spleen and Solar Plexus, the only one that is motor and awareness at once. The Heart and the Sacral are pure motors. The Throat is the center of expression, the G center holds identity.
Together they carry all 64 gates. The Throat has the most with eleven, the Head the fewest with three. A center counts as defined when a complete channel touches it.
Why nine centers and not seven chakras?
Ra Uru Hu taught that the seven-centered form, which he linked to the chakra system of Hindu tradition, gave way to a nine-centered human in 1781, the decade Herschel discovered Uranus. He tied the same turn to the Industrial Revolution and a warming planet.
In his view almost every religion and philosophy we inherited was built for the older, mind-driven seven-centered being, so a nine-centered humanity keeps living under instructions that were never written for it.
Is the nine-centered human the final form?
No. Ra described us as a transitional form. He placed the start of the next mutation in that same year, 1781, in gates 49 and 55, which share one codon and both sit in the Solar Plexus. From 2027 on, he said, the first children with a changed emotional system would be born, the ones he called raves.
