INCARNATION CROSSES

In Human Design, an incarnation cross is the theme of a whole life, read from four gates: Sun and Earth at birth, and Sun and Earth when the Sun stood 88 degrees earlier.

What is an incarnation cross in Human Design?

Personality Sun and Earth come from the birth moment, Design Sun and Earth from roughly three months before. Sun and Earth always sit in opposite gates, so the four form a cross on the wheel. Human Design reads it as the purpose of a life, since Sun and Earth carry the strongest imprint in the chart.

How many incarnation crosses are there?

Any of the 64 gates can hold the Personality Sun, in three geometries: 192 crosses. The profile decides the geometry. 4/1 is a Juxtaposition, profiles opening with a 5th or 6th line give a Left Angle, all others a Right Angle cross.

What does an incarnation cross have to do with 2027?

Ra Uru Hu taught that humanity as a whole also lives under a cross. Since 1615 that has been the Cross of Planning, gates 37, 40, 9 and 16. In 2027 it yields to the Sleeping Phoenix, gates 55, 59, 34 and 20, which he called the dark counterpart to Planning: tribal before, individual after. He added that the shift is slow and can reach into the next century.

Which crosses carry the global cycles?

Ra explained that a global cycle reaches people only through carriers: Sphinx and Vessel of Love crosses, plus anyone with G center gates.
